Mixing Colors Experiment

Procedure:

What color do you see when you throw at the same time on a white surface:

  1. Green and red light
  2. Green and blue light
  3. Blue and red light
  4. Green, blue and red light

Explanation:

White light consists of radiations corresponding to each color such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet . Of all these colors red, green and blue are the basic colors of light, because they cannot result from mixing other colors. So if you mix, in exactly equal quantities, red light, green light and blue light on a dark surface, then white light emerges.
